Guangdong College of Performing Arts is a higher vocational institution dedicated to cultivating advanced applied talents in the arts. To meet the demands of modern vocational education and nurture environmental art design professionals aligned with contemporary industrial needs, the college has actively promoted deep industry-academia collaboration in recent years, vigorously building a talent pool specializing in public art and cultural tourism design.

Since its inception, Guangdong Guangxiu Engineering Co., Ltd. has been infused with the spirit of public art. Mr. Zhong Fanghong, the company’s co-founder and design director, has been appointed as a member of the Professional Construction Committee at the Guangdong Literary & Art Vocational College of the School of Arts and Crafts for many consecutive years. He has also played a pivotal role in establishing the Public Art Studio and the Cultural Tourism Space Design Studio within the college. For over a decade, Mr. Zhong has dedicated himself to the college’s development with profound responsibility and commitment.
This demonstrates the deep historical ties and collaborative friendship between Guangxiu Public Art and Guangdong Literary & Art Vocational College. Moving forward, Guangdong Guangxiu Engineering Co., Ltd. will actively advance the implementation of university-enterprise cooperation projects, providing students with practical platforms while supplying enterprises with outstanding talent. Guangdong Guangxiu Engineering Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Literary & Art Vocational College have established a long-term, close school-enterprise partnership based on mutual development. This collaboration achieves deep integration between industry and education, leveraging complementary strengths for mutual benefit, jointly crafting an urban symphony of water and light.
Within the Environmental Art Design program or related disciplines, both parties organize targeted training for a select number of students through a master-apprentice model, adhering to the principle of student voluntarism. They jointly develop talent cultivation plans centered on modern apprenticeship requirements, collaboratively design curricula and implementation methods, and establish a unified school-enterprise quality monitoring system and evaluation standards by leveraging each other’s strengths. This approach ensures precise alignment between industry needs and educational outcomes, achieving targeted talent development.

Over the past year, frequent interactions and synergies between the university and enterprise have led to multiple exchange visits between Guangdong Guangxiu Engineering Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Literary & Art Vocational College. On April 11, Director Yin Yangping and Instructor Chen Chen from the College of Arts and Crafts visited Guangdong Guangxiu’s headquarters and R&D production base to jointly explore experiences and future directions for university-enterprise collaboration.
